Dr. Durham graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Physical Sciences. One month after graduating from UH, he began his pursuit of his doctorate in 1993 at Texas Chiropractic College. He completed an orthopedic surgical rotation as Doctors Hospital in Houston before receiving his Doctorate in Chiropractic in December 1996. Before joining Sunrise Chiropractic, Dr. Durham was in private practice in the Houston Heights and in North Houston. Dr. Durham has also served as the Physical Medicine Director for multiple MD based practices here in Houston and in the East Texas region.
As a native Houstonian, he loves his Houston sports teams and enjoys working with athletes of all ages to improve physical performance levels. Dr. Durham has achieved certification in Manipulation under Anesthesia with Hospital Protocol experience and training. He is a Fellow with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Durham is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Dr. Durham has been involved in many professional organizations including the American Chiropractic Association, Texas Chiropractic Association, and the Texas Chiropractic College Alumni Association. He is also a member of the St. Thomas High School Alumni Association and is a member of the Catholic fraternal organization Knights of Columbus.
