While investigating the patients benefits of adding non-surgical decompression into our practice we investigated numerous non-surgical decompression machines. Several factors were taken into account. Many of the machines required extensive harnesses and utilized cables and hooks. The SpineMed system does not require multiple harnesses and there are no cables or pullies. Our feeling after extensive investigation was that this helped to eliminate variables and enabled us to better apply a more direct decompression to the tergeted area. Additionally after trying several machines this machine seemed to provide better patient comfort. While several of the machines were less expensive, they just simply did not seem to have the same sophistication or technology. While all of the systems or machines reportedly have the same goal of decompression, it was our opinion that this machine better accomplished the goals with superior patient comfort. Thus with patient comfort and superior results being our goal SpineMed seemed to best accomplish our goal.
